Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a new 2021 evaluation indicator for the independent living support centers for the disabled in Seoul evaluating the performance of the function and role of the centers and improving service quality in the future. As a research method, previous studies related to the independent living evaluation indicator for the disabled are reviewed, and an expert AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) survey is conducted to calculate the weight of each item for the evaluation indicator(draft) derived through reanalyzing the previous evaluation result data and having several consultation meetings. Subsequently, as a result of collecting opinions on the final evaluation indicator(draft) from the AHP survey, a new 2021 evaluation indicator has 13 items(100 points) on two areas which are 8 items on ¡®organization management'(30 points) and 5 items on ¡®program evaluation'(70 points). The suggestions for this as follow: the application period and notification of utilizing the new evaluation indicator is required. In addition, it is necessary to organize and train evaluators with field understanding and detailed manuals for evaluation target organizations and committees should be prepared. Furthermore, there is a need for a plan to promote the growth of the entire independent living support centers for the disabled through feedback from the evaluation results.
